Edmundo Costa Chief Executive Officer


Edmundo joined Catbird in 2007 and is a software industry veteran. He brings over 20 years of executive experience growing companies from their early stages through to IPO. As the CEO, he leads Catbird’s pioneering efforts to deliver a new approach in the enterprise security market, ensuring that virtual and cloud infrastructures are secure and compliant. Prior to Catbird, Edmundo was a founding member of Tarantella, Inc. and held executive positions at The Santa Cruz Operation (SCO). He also worked at Accenture. He received his MBA from Harvard Business School and is a graduate of Cornell University with dual degrees in Operations Research & Information Engineering and Economics.

David Keasey Executive Vice President, Sales and Business Development


David joined Catbird in 2013 to lead global sales and business development. He brings nearly 25 years of information technology industry and consulting experience to Catbird's management team. Most recently David was SVP and GM of Verizon Terremark's information security business unit and global consulting services for cloud and security, a $400M business that includes the largest managed security services business in the industry. Prior to that, David led the cloud and security sales teams for the $1B Verizon Global Services business unit following Verizon's acquisition of CyberTrust. He has also held sales leadership and consulting roles at CyberTrust, Data Return, Digex and Ernst & Young. He holds an MBA in finance and marketing from Loyola Marymount University and a BA in Business from Michigan State University.

Randal Asay Chief Technology Officer


Randal joined Catbird in 2013 with over 15 years of experience in network security, architecture, implementation, and security best practices in commercial and government environments. Prior to Catbird, Randal served as Director of Engineering at Walmart Stores Inc., developing industry-leading code analysis practices to support security and compliance initiatives as well as addressing enhancements to perimeter and network security and overall policy enforcement. He lead the E-commerce Infrastructure teams through extensive growth, delivering capacity management and technology refresh methods impacting network design, storage capacity and database tuning. Prior to Walmart, he applied his security expertise to the Information Assurance division of the United States Air Force. Randal holds Masters degrees in Information Technology Management and Business Administration from Webster University as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from Weber State University.

Randy Bresee Chief Financial Officer


Randy joined Catbird in 2012 bringing over 30 years of experience in Finance, Information Systems (IS) and administrative management. As the CFO, he is responsible for Catbird’s investor relations as well as all financial and administrative functions. Prior to Catbird, Randy was a co-founder of SAH Technologies. He was the CFO at Acuity Systems, Tarantella, and SCO. He also held positions as Controller, IS Manager and Senior Financial Analyst at several high-tech companies in Silicon Valley. He has a BA degree in Political Science with a minor in Finance from Humboldt State University.

Sri Sundaralingam Vice President, Products and Marketing

Sri Sundarlingam

Sri joined Catbird in 2014 to lead product management and marketing. He brings over 17 years of experience in information security, data networking, and enterprise software areas. Most recently, Sri served as Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at Endace (now Emulex) launching and growing datacenter focused network performance & security analytics product lines. Prior to that, he was a Director of Product Management at Juniper Networks heading up Junos Software initiatives. He has also held senior positions at Airtight Networks, Cisco Systems, and Alcatel. Sri earned an Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada and Certificate of Business Excellence (Executive Education) from U.C. Berkeley.
