How It Works
DNS hijackers exploit Internet routing protocol vulnerabilities which are insecure due to lack of two-way authentication. The Catbird Pharming / Hijacking Monitor works by taking a snapshot of all of your DNS records. It then compares the snapshots with current DNS records every 2 minutes – if they don’t match, an alert is sent to your email or pager so you can resolve the problem immediately.
