The heart of the Catbird system is a fully-automated, non-invasive suite which continuously monitors the external and internal network 24x7, every two minutes, 365 days a year. A sophisticated reporting system instantly notifies designated personnel of anomalous conditions and events including vulnerability detection, performance degradation, unauthorized (rogue) users and website availability or defacement.
Catbird is unique in being an ASP-style service. There is no complicated software to install or maintain and no servers to purchase and continuously upgrade. Catbird simply requires the URLs of the websites the customer wants to monitor, and the domains and IP addresses that the customer wishes to safeguard. Set up can be accomplished in minutes. Catbird will then automatically, remotely and continuously watch over those sites, immediately identifying any problems. For added protection, Catbird can deploy an unobtrusive appliance on the LAN to check for problems originating in the customer’s own network. Monitors may be purchased and deployed individually, as part of a designated package, or as a complete suite.
