Rogue LAN Monitoring
How It Works
Catbird monitors for new hosts connected to the LAN segment. When a new unauthorized host is found, an alert is automatically sent to the network manager, and a vulnerability assessment of this host is completed.
A targeted Intelligent Vulnerability Scan is then run, with the report sent to the administrator. This report documents the Rogue Hosts and Rogue Mappings found during the reporting period, along with the Intelligent Vulnerability Scan information.
