Take Me to Cloud Security

How secure is the Catbird solution?

As a security company, Catbird understands better than most the many lines of defenses required to keep our own, and our partner and customers’, assets safeguarded. The Catbird service is designed around secure standards designed to protect against these problems, including:

All communication is via HTTPS (SSLv3)

Audit trail showing all monitoring results and reporting history for distributed, global networks.

Secure multi-user authorization and authentication built -in to service.

Role-based administration allowing permissions to be set by group or individuals by monitor or groups of monitors.

Secure monitoring of virtual machine appliance: The Catbird virtual machine appliance is a hardened Linux kernel. There are no listening services or open ports. All communication to the Catbird Command Center™ system is through a secure outbound connection, to a specific IP address, with authentication.
